GSCA Announcements – 1st Quarter of 2020

Hello, fellow neighbors!  The Greater Stonehenge Civic Association has a lot of great things in the works, and we wanted to let you know what’s coming…

First up, we are thrilled to announce that the Stonehenge Garden Club is celebrating its 50th year!

The Garden Club loves to welcome new members into the fold and encourages you to come to one of their meetings to get involved. You’ll enjoy friendship and all things gardening with this welcoming group of Stonehenge neighbors. The Garden Club meets on the third Thursday of every month, at 10:00 am, at the Stonehenge Club. Now is a great time to plan to attend, with spring upon us!  All are welcome! Questions?  Contact Karyn Buckley at (804) 310-2747, or Karyn.Buckley@gmail.com.

Next, we would like to remind you that Annual GSCA Dues are due April 1, 2020!

Please note that annual dues have increased from $35 to $40, effective this year. This will help our Board with increased maintenance costs, along with hosting more social events for our neighborhood. Dues notices will be sent out this week, so look for yours coming soon. The Board is encouraging residents to pay dues via our online portal, if at all possible. This helps us immensely with tracking dues payments as well as eliminating having to manually enter and deposit dues payments. Of course, we will still accept payments via snail mail, when necessary.  Pay your 2020 Annual Dues online HERE.

Plan to attend the next GSCA Neighborly Happy Hour!

The GSCA Board is pleased to bring you the next Neighborly Happy Hour, to round out the first quarter of 2020! Plan to join us at Angelo’s new location on Midlothian Turnpike, on Thursday, March 12 at 5:00 pm.  These Happy Hour events are always well-attended.  They’re a great way to get to know your neighbors in a fun, social setting, with great food! Angelo’s has always been a great host to us, and we look forward to seeing you at their brand new location. Please RSVP on Facebook and share the event with your neighbor friends to help us get the word out!  We hope to see you there!

The Board looks forward to working alongside our neighbors to continue to make Stonehenge a great place to live!
